 Actors Play Reading Group                                                                                                                  

The Actor's play reading group is open to any actor, playwright, or director who wishes to participate.  We will be reading plays chosen by exness broker our members.  Members may suggest plays that they are interested in directing someday, writing projects they are working on, or even plays with specific characters they would be interested in reading.  If you would like to join the Actor's Play Reading Group and have a specific play that you would like to read or hear read, please email Lia Wright at lia@cpacfitchburg.org.  Please include:

- the play you would like to have read, if not a published play include a character list and a brief descriptions.

-If you are a playwright or a director and have specific actors in mind, include a cast list.

-If you are an actor and there is a specific character you would like to read, include character name.

-include dates you may be available to read.

*Some plays may contain adult language and/or content, because of this the Actors Play Reading Group is open to Adults only.

When: The first and third Saturdays of every month.

Time: 7:30 pm

Where: Cornerstone Performing Arts Center, 454 Main St, Fitchburg

Cost: FREE!

Open Jam Nights                                                                                                                                   

Open Jam Nights grades 6-12 bring your instruments and come hang out and jam with other musicians.

*All youth under the age of 18 must submit paperwork signed by a parent or guardian to participate.  (Monitored by adult staff)

When: The first Friday of every month, starting April 2nd

Time: 7-9 pm

Where: Cornerstone Performing Arts Center, 454 Main St, Fitchburg

Cost: $5 per youth

FSC's Falcon Players presents "Dog in the Manger"  by Lope de Vega, translated by David Johnston  

Come see the comic masterpiece of Lope de Vega, the "Spanish Shakespeare".  The Countess Diana has it all--beauty, money, and exness sign up suitors at her beck and call--but can't find happiness.  When a mysterious man breaks into her house in the middle of the night, her life turns upside-down, and she is faced with an impossible choice.  In this story of jealousy, passion, and forbidden love, the rules of society prove to be no match for the yearnings of the human heart.

When: March 4-7

Time: Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm, Sunday at 2:00 pm

Cornerstone is hosting a fundraiser for Outreach to Teach: Extreme Makeover, featuring Pamela HIll and Bob Eiland, will raise funds to give the Longsjo Middle School in Fitchburg a much needed facelift.

When: March 26

Time: 7:30 pm

Where: Phillips Hall, First Parish Church, 923 Main Street, Fitchburg

Cost: $10 ($5 for FSC students and seniors over 65)

Children's Poetry Readings                                                                                                                     

The Rabbit Hole presents a free Sunday poetry series once a month for kids age 12 and under.  Kids can bring a favorite poem to read out loud, or kids receive one to read.  Moms, Dads, and family members are welcome to read also.  If you are a child who is writing poetry, come share your work with a receptive audience!

When: Sunday March 14, April 18, and May 23

Time: 1 pm

Where: The Rabbit Hole, 805 Main St, Fitchburg

Cost: Free!
